"The CCWG is a support group for women from diverse ethnic backgrounds. We support women who are vulnerable and marginalised. This includes Women who have poor physical and mental health, have experienced domestic violence, are carers or refugees or asylum seekers and those that are socially isolated.
The group is diverse and has women attending from different ethnic groups and different faith groups as well. We have women who have no English language skills, yet we are able to communicate and understand one another. The key is giving women an informal relaxed safe space where women can drop-in with their children. Where they are able to learn, try new activities and make friends".
